The Brushless Goliath is a 16 inch flying wing that
now uses the 24 gm 3000kv CD Rom motor for power. The kit includes
CNC precision-cut EPP foam wing cores, coroplast wing tips, balsa
elevons , micro control horns and colored covering tape, plus all
additional parts needed to build the wing. (See the kit
contents page) All parts are pre-cut and ready to assemble . This
wing can be finished in 2 to 3 hours by the average builder . The
completed wing, without electronics, will weigh approximately 2 ½
ounces .
All the fun of the larger wings but in a smaller area. The Goliath
is a tough, bouncy little wing that weighs only 3.7 ounces, ready-to-fly,
and thus can withstand a lot of bad landings . It has a top speed
of 60+ mph with 2-cell Lithium polymer pack. but easily floats around
the field at ¼ throttle. It can be flown indoors in an arena-type
setting. Aerobatic at most speeds and easy to handle with a little
experience, it is an exciting fun flyer.
