The Brushless Frenzee is a 27 inch wing that features
CNC precision cut EPP foam wing cores. And a 3000kv, 24 gm CD-Rom
motor with an APC 4.1x4.1 prop for power. The kit includes a prop
saver and a Slofly 8mm aluminum tube motor mount. The kit also contains
all parts needed to complete the wing, except glues and radio gear.
The parts are pre-cut and ready to assemble. (see kit
contents page). A 2-cell 1200mah or a 3-cell 800-1000mah are
the recommended lithium polymer battery packs. An amp draw of 17-20A
at 10V has been reported for this motor by a number of flyers.
The Brushless Frenzee is an extremely stable wing
that tracks very well. It is very aerobatic from medium to high
speeds. It has fast rolls (3 to 4 per second), tight loop and top
speeds in the 70-80’s range. It has unlimited vertical flight,
very long glides, and can be flown in an area the size of a baseball
field. It is easily launched, power-off, from a glide and can fly
in winds of 15+ mph. It will have am AUW of about 7.6 oz with the
recommended battery packs.
The Original (Brushed) Frenzee:
This kit includes the Johnson 250 brushed motor and 2 4x4 GWS props
for power. All other basic building parts are the same as above.
The Brushed Frenzee is a very stable flying wing
that is easy to handle at high speeds (50+ mph reported by fliers)
or low speeds. It is aerobatic from mid to high speeds performing
tight loops and fast rolls (3-4/sec). It launches from a glide and
can be flown in 10-15 mph winds. The motor has a 2mm shaft and requires
a 2-cell Lithium Polymer battery pack with 700-1200mah. The top
amp draw at 7.4V is 7-8 A.
